Parmesan Potatoes

Parmesan Potatoes

I’m a lover of potatoes, but rarely make them at home because of the time that I always think that they will consume. I’ve been craving potatoes lately, and not some low quality potatoes that you get at some low quality nearby restaurant. I’ve been craving delicious homemade potatoes, but not just any potatoes, potatoes coated with delicious spices and topped with salty and tangy parmesan cheese. I knew that I wanted to make Parmesan Potatoes, but not your ordinary Parmesan Potatoes, they needed some special spices. I looked into our cupboard and went directly towards the adobe and then reached for the chili flakes.

The Adobe in the Parmesan Potatoes brings the zing and zestiness to the dish

The Parmesan Potatoes are so easy to make, the only annoying part is the peeling and cutting, but believe me, this dish only requires about 10 minutes of prep time. Once you wash, peel, and cut your potatoes, put them onto a cutting board and cut them into thin circular slices.¬†Mix the spices and olive oil with the potatoes in a large bowl, top them with the milk, and baked them for thirty minutes. The milk softens them up and the potatoes take in the milk, which adds in some extra flavors. Once the thirty minutes pass by, top the potaotes with the parmesan cheese, I used about half a cup, but you can add as much as you desire. I couldn’t wait for the potatoes to cool, I had to have a quick taste, and I’m so happy that I did because they came out delicious. These were the best potatoes that I’ve had and I can’t wait to make them again, if you do make them at home, make sure not to substitute the adobe, it brings the flavor of the potatoes to an over the top level. Enjoy!
