Raspberry Chocolate Mousse

Do you love┬áchocolate with hints of fruit? You will love our Raspberry Chocolate Mousse recipe, which you should make ASAP! My family has been loving this recipe and they can’t get enough of it, I’ve already received requests to make it again and again and again, which is always a great sign čÖé I must say that I decided to create this recipe when Max, my brother, and I went to pick up dessert after enjoying a wonderful Mexican dinner. I love the dessert that this local restaurant offers and I only go here maybe twice a year when I don’t have the energy to make dessert at home. Although the dessert at this restaurant is good, it is ridiculously overpriced and they give you the smallest slices of cake, believe me they are tiny slices… well I decided that I had enough of being overcharged for desserts that I can make at home for a lower amount of money and with better ingredients. So, I thought about the only dessert that I like at this restaurant, it’s a chocolate cake with a raspberry chocolate mousse, hence the invention of my newest recipe, Raspberry Chocolate Mousse. I have no idea how this restaurant makes their mousse, but I put my thinking cap on, went on a whim on how I wanted to make it, and can you believe that it came out beyond amazing?!? I ended up using organic frozen raspberries for my Raspberry flavor in the Raspberry Chocolate Mousse, I was contemplating getting fresh raspberries, but our local Whole Foods did not have a great deal on them and the frozen raspberries where just as fabulous. For the chocolate we used semisweet chocolate in mini chip form as opposed to buying larger pieces, which would have to add to our prep to cut them into smaller pieces, less prep makes me a very happy girl. We hope that you love and enjoy our Raspberry Chocolate Mousse as much as we do! We served it with our delicious chocolate cake, yum.
